    *  A valid passport is a must which traveling to foreign countries. Some countries require a visa to access. If you need a visa, apply two months ahead of time to avoid paying high-fees at the last moment. If you travel with a child who has your custody, then you should make sure to have the passport for that child as well.

    * While traveling, make a photocopy of all your credential like your passport, credit cards, or any other import items. Keep one set of these copies at home.

    * It’s advisable to avoid traveling to those countries that your own country has no diplomatic relation with.
