I’ve just been on our Avis Prestige website to find some awesome additions to this range. Joining a stable that already included the Audi R8, Aston Martin DB9 and the Mercedes SLK are the Ferrari F1 360 Spider, the Ferrari F430 F1 Spider, the Bentley Continental GT and the Lamborghini Gallardo. And on the back of some rave reviews since it’s launch, we are also welcoming the new Jaguar XF. I think few could argue with the quality of that line-up!

I think I have commented on this before, but I think it’s a shame that there isn’t more information on the cars that are being offered by the Prestige range.
The super cars are one thing, but with the normal road cars it would be usefully to have more information about what model is being offered.
If I am about to hire an A4 convertible, I want to know whether it is a diesel or petrol, and which one.
The BMW 3 series Saloon, is it a 320d, a 320i, perhaps a 325i?
If I’m thinking of hiring the XF (which I am by the way) I want to know whether it is the 2.7 Diesel or 3.0 petrol etc… (I think you get my point by now…)
Even with the normal Avis fleet there is usually more information about what model it is, engine size etc, and that is with cars that are not guaranteed.
Here we are booking a premium car, paying a lot of money for the pleasure, yet not given any information besides the most basic.
You don’t need to try very hard to get prices on your quotation page. Because of that I can not rent a car from you. Sorry

Hi Robert, I do remember you commenting on this. I did raise with the Avis Prestige team. I can’t remember what the response was to be honest. I’ll have a chat with them and see what possibility there is of providing this information and post an update here. I completely agree with you though, and I’m sure the Avis Prestige team will as well.

i want to hire the new audi a4 saloon and like robert i dont have information about what specs it has, engine size and whether its a petrol or diesel. so i dont know what car im getting. can you provide some information?
Hi Shazz, the new shape A4 on the Avis Prestige range is a 2.0 litre TDi SE with satellite navigation fitted as standard. We also have a similar spec on our Select Series fleet although there is currently no way to guarantee that you will get the new shape and it does not come fitted with sat nav as standard.

Not directly related to the normal fleet but to the Prestige fleet (which I presume we can discuss here…?)
Very happy to see the Scirocco on there which must be new as when I checked a couple of weeks ago it wasn’t there…
Anyway, in regards to that, I wanted to know which model it was they had on the fleet, was it the 1.4, 2.0 petrol or 2.0 diesel?
And has it got built in satnav and leather.

You’ve just had a bit of a sneak preview of the Scirocco because Avis Prestige was due to take delivery but it has now been delayed. For this reason it has been removed off the website. But I will update you with the answers to your questions when it becomes available.
