In Rob’s Christmas post, he talked about indulging himself a little with his blog writing. It’s that time of year so I thought ‘why not’ and decided to indulge myself a little?! For a bit of fun over the Christmas period, I started thinking about what cars I would have on my car hire fleet if money was no object and I could have any dream car I wanted. So, I’ve listed my top make/models below by car category…
1. Prestige – Porsche 911 Targa 4S or Audi R8
2. Luxury – Jaguar XF SV8
3. Executive – Audi A4 and Mercedes C Class
4. Standard – Ford Mondeo
5. Medium – Citroen C4
6. Small – Citroen C1 and Fiat 500
Thoughts? Agree/disagree? Please feel free to list your own choices!

Prestige – Audi R8 / DB9
2. Luxury – Jaguar XF SV8 (Saw it at Frankfurt, can’t wait to drive one…) / Merc CLS
3. Executive – New Audi A4 and BMW 3 series
4. Standard – Ford Mondeo / new Citroen C5 that comes out in Feb, beautiful looking car that I hope Avis considers)
5. Medium – Focus/Golf (boring but they both have the best drive in their class)
6. Small – Mini Cooper S and Fiat 500
Hmmm… I have to say I agree with a lot of the above. My list below…
1. Prestige – Aston Martin DB9 (pure class) or Lamgorghini Gallardo
2. Luxury – Jaguar XF (I don’t really know enough about cars in this class to have an opinion but Xave has been harping on about it plus the reviews have been good)
3. Executive – New Audi A4
4. Standard – Ford Mondeo
5. Medium – VW Golf
6. Small – Renault Clio (I’ve got a diesel at the moment and I really like it!)
In addition I would like to throw a couple of other cars that don’t quite fit a category…
Honda FCX (one for the future)
DeLorean (one to get me to the future)
1. prestige lamborghini murcielago ( sorry rob
)
2 luxury – bentley azure (cos i fancy meself as a gangster moll)
3 executive – bmw 760i
4 standard – honda accord ( sexy and fast)
5 medium – seat leon tdi (well done avis for getting these little bootys on fleet)
6 smart for2 passion
right im off to put my lottery on now
Ha ha – the Murcielago, you’ve got me there! I did think about putting in the Murcielago instead of the Gallardo. However, I restrained myself because from a price perspective the Murcielago is so much more expensive than anything else that people have put on their lists so I wasn’t sure whether it would be fair game. However, Xavier did say “if money was no object”. In which case I’d like to add the Lamborgini Reventón. There are only 20 that have been made (plus a prototype) and costs a cool £840,000!
Let me just say that the BMW 7 series is not an Executive car, it belongs in the Luxury category I’m afraid…
Not a fun of the 7 myself, I prefer the A8.
I meant not a fan of course!
