The staff have always been very helpfull and as a result I now use Avis for all my rentals. One small point, on my last trip I was allocated a new VW Passatt estate. It had an electronic handbreak and no hand book. It took me and the attendant some time to work out how it worked. Perhaps a short briefing to staff might be called for. Keep up the good work! As you said it really seems they care about you as the customer and the Avis company as well. Well done. Additionally I just love how easy it is to walk from the terminal to the car pickup area.
